"I'm looking forward
to racing in Atlanta. We didn't test there and I've only raced on the track
three times - once in a Cup car in 1996 on the old Atlanta track and twice
in a Busch car. We qualified pretty well in the Busch car there last fall,
but had some engine problems that cut our day short. As much as I hate to
be considered a rookie, this is actually one of the places that I really
don't have a lot of experience. Everyone talks about how fast the track is,
and I like to go fast, so I can't wait to get in the NetZero Pontiac and get
out there."

"One of our main
concerns right now is to maximize our practice time before a race. We've
lost a lot of practice time this year, so when we get to the race we end up
spending a lot of time making changes to the car. We've been behind the
eight ball a couple of times already this year. When we can get through
practice and qualifying without any mishaps and be able to concentrate on
race setup in the final practices, we'll be a lot better on raceday."
