"For the first 20 laps of the race the NetZero Pontiac Grand Prix was pretty
good. I don't know what happened after that, but all the sudden the car got
one of the worst vibrations I've ever experienced. Right before the wreck
the car was acting funny, like it had four equalized tires, and I was
thinking of going into the pits, but before I could do that, we spun. The
guys did a good job fixing the car and it wasn't too bad after that. It
seemed like we were even able to run faster than we had before the
accident."
NOTES OF INTEREST -
Sprague and the NetZero Racing team took the sixth provisional starting spot
for the Food City 500. During Lap 181 of Sunday's event, the NetZero
Pontiac spun coming off turn two and made contact with the inside wall. The
team spent 80 laps behind the wall making repairs.
