No. 60 Con-way Freight Tundra to Appear
at New York Stock Exchange
“Wyler Racing Owner To Appear With
Con-way Leaders”
Mooresville, North Carolina (May 10, 2006) - The
No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota piloted by Jack Sprague in
the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be featured at the
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) this Friday. It’s
all part of a celebration for sponsor Con-way’s recent
name change that includes the president and CEO of Con-way,
Douglas Stotlar, ringing the NYSE opening bell at 9:30 a.m.
ET.
“Ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange is
a meaningful way to celebrate the kick-off of this important
new chapter in our Company’s history,” commented
Stotlar. “We are proud members of the New York Stock
Exchange and are excited to participate in this time-honored
event.”
Also on hand for the festivities will be Jeff Wyler, owner
of Wyler Racing and the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota.
“I truly feel proud to have the No. 60 Con-way Freight
Toyota Tundra on display in front of the New York Stock Exchange,” Wyler
said. “Our relationship with Con-way Freight has
been tremendous for our race organization and this takes
it to another level.”
Wyler Racing and Con-way (NYSE:CNW) joined forces at the
beginning of the 2006 season with three-time NCTS champion
Sprague behind the wheel. The team is currently fifth in
the point’s standings. Sprague has three top-five finishes
in five races this season.
The No. 60 Wyler Racing Toyota helped unveil the company’s
new Con-way Freight logo and colors at the NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series race at St. Louis last month. The No. 60 Toyota
is blue and white with red numbers and it features the new
Con-way Freight logo.
“The enthusiasm that permeates throughout the Con-way
employee base is matched by our pride to be included in this
special event for them as a company,” Wyler said. “The
Con-way Freight re-branding program is something very important
and a big move for their corporate identity - and we are
happy to do our part by displaying the new company logo and
colors on our No. 60 Toyota Tundra. It is a privilege
to be associated with Con-way Freight and their 20,000 plus
employees - and it will be a huge thrill for me personally
to have our truck be a part of their celebration at the New
York Stock Exchange.”
Sprague and the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota will hit the
track next week at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Friday
May 19th for the running of the Quaker Steak & Lube 200.
