Wyler Racing Sets Sail with American Commercial Lines

Mooresville, N.C. (April 28, 2007) – Wyler Racing announced today that American Commercial Lines (ACL) has signed on as a sponsor of the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  ACL joins an impressive catalog of sponsors supporting Wyler Racing and three-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ Champion Jack Sprague in their bid for the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship.

“We are still relatively new to the ownership side of this sport,” explained Jeff Wyler, owner of Wyler Racing.  “But we have been fortunate to partner with some of the greatest companies in the sport.  We are excited to partner with American Commercial Lines and look forward to having them onboard our Con-way Freight Toyota Tundra!”

ACL’s insignia will first appear on the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota on June 8th during the Sam’s Town 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Shayne Ingersoll, Vice President of Human Resources for American Commercial Lines stated, "We are thrilled about expanding our involvement in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  ACL's partnership with Wyler Racing will give us greater visibility to prospective employees; while also allowing us to provide unique and exciting incentives to existing employees and customers."

American Commercial Lines sponsored the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race earlier this year at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and has now added the Wyler Racing program to their motorsports marketing efforts.

“I am really excited that American Commercial Lines has partnered with Wyler Racing and the No. 60 Toyota,” said Sprague.  “They sponsored the Truck race in Atlanta and I had an opportunity to meet some of their staff and management.  Like our primary sponsor, Con-way Freight, they are a class-act organization and I’m looking forward to a long-term relationship with them.”

American Commercial Lines is one of the largest and most diversified marine transportation and manufacturing companies in the United States with more than 3,000 employees. The company has been operating on the United States Inland Waterways System since 1915.
